Gardner
Rob Gardner is a Vice President at Mission Strategies with over 12 years working on tax and trade policy related to the solar industry — representing some of the world's largest solar manufacturers before Congress and federal agencies.
Background
Before joining Mission, Rob was a Vice President at Boundary Stone Partners, leading client engagement with major solar, battery, and critical mineral manufacturers during the implementation of the IRA and IIJA. Rob previously served as a Policy Advisor at Baker Donelson where he advised advanced battery, CPG manufacturers, and climate tech companies during the formulation of the IRA, IIJA, CHIPS Act, and trade policy.
Rob served on the legislative staff of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) for seven years, covering tax, trade, sanctions, and certain appropriations issues. He worked with key officials and staff in the House, Senate, and White House to advance legislative priorities, helping negotiate and pass multiple bipartisan pieces of tax, sanctions, and trade legislation.
