Maggie Valdes is a political science student at Clemson University, building a foundation in public policy, sustainability, and law through advanced coursework, research, public service, and campus leadership.
Background
At Clemson University, Maggie is building a strong academic and leadership foundation through advanced coursework, public service, and campus involvement. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with minors in Sustainability and Political Theory, while consistently maintaining Dean's List and President's List honors.
Professionally, she has supported sustainability and legal research initiatives through an internship with Delicato Family Wines, where she researched California sustainable wine-growing policy and contributed to product innovation research. She has also developed customer service and organizational skills through hospitality roles.
Beyond her coursework, Maggie serves on multiple committees within Kappa Delta Sorority and is a member of Kappa Alpha Pi, a competitive pre-law and government fraternity focused on professional development and public service. She was also selected as a founding member of the Clemson Law Review.
