Dane Bahnsen is a Senior Vice President at Mission Strategies. Dane’s deep relationships across the Trump Administration, coupled with a proven record of defending FY25 appropriations and critical tax credits in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, position him as an ideal team member to support Mission’s clients federal objectives.
Prior to joining Mission, Dane was a Vice President with Boundary Stone Partners, where he advised clients on how to leverage government support to expedite their growth. Prior to this, he previously worked for a renewable energy startup where he spearheaded government relations and market development, crafting a robust go-to-market strategy for the company's expansion into the United Kingdom. His efforts extended globally, engaging with various stakeholders, including government bodies, industry partners, trade associations, and community leaders. While working on these initiatives, he established the company's presence and played a pivotal role in shaping policy for commercialization.
Before his work in the startup arena, Dane served as a Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of Energy. There, he led initiatives to bolster U.S. energy exports, advocate for favorable policies, and foster bilateral research and development efforts. His focus encompassed underserved markets across the globe. Dane's tenure in the Executive Branch coincided with the challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, during which he navigated the complexities of global energy markets while cultivating vital relationships with stakeholders worldwide.
Dane earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University, where he adeptly balanced a full-time course load with work on various political campaigns. His experience spans from Senate races to Presidential campaigns, and as a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom, he brings a unique perspective to his endeavors.
